Fishing is one of New Zealand's great pastimes, and is one of my passions. I love to fish in both fresh and salt water, for the thrill of the sport or to catch an evening meal.

RIVER FISHING
The Maniototo has an abundance of great fishing rivers. You can test your skills in both fly and spin fishing chasing the famous New Zealand rainbow trout or trying to hook the elusive brown.

LAKE FISHING
Central Otago is famous for its beautiful lakes. You can spend a day or two trawling these lakes on my boat relaxing while fishing for both rainbow and brown trout. We can park up in one of the bays and enjoy a picnic lunch including fresh barbeque fish and then try a little fly or spinning from the lake bed.

OCEAN FISHING
We are very lucky that New Zealand is surrounded by the ocean and it's abundance of fish. It is a different experience to challenge the ocean and its bounty, Blue Cod, Red Cod, Tarakihi, Trumpeter, Shark, Jack Stewart and the popular Groper to name just a few. Not only a great day out but great eating as well there is something grand about taking home your catch or cooking it on an open fire. The sea adventures take place on Otago's East Coast in the great fishing spots off Moeraki and Karitane.
